Update to 1.0.524 and font size in settings

I’m not sure how it was before exactly, but the new default size of 125% is too big and the 100% is too small in comparition to my designs from before.

Hi Holger, we are seeing some issues across different devices. Trying to nail down the OS versions that are giving trouble.

Could you please send me the Android version, device manufacturer as well as a bug report?

Thanks!

you can find all in email, thanks Justin.

… hope, it works. It is a big file. Thanks Justin.

Thanks, I have the display corruption (Android 13 only) and purple header figured out (Android 9 only).

I have not seen any font size related issues as yet.

Thanks Justin, you are very fast!!! „corruption“ means the crash after saving coordinates?

Possible to add between 100% and 125% one more value (e.g. 112,5%) or user value with own entry?

No, corruption is just display corruption. I have not figured out the crash yet.

Could you please give access to justin.steventon@gmail.com?

Good morning,
Nice to see that we are not alone and that the team is already on it, so efficient, thanks! Im also coming to report some crash that I encountered since yesterday. CyberTracker would not open anymore but it looks like the screen got completely broken with some black line (and sometimes green/red colours) appearing across the screen, making CyberTracker not available anymore. While I manage to uninstall and reinstall the new udpates on 2 BlackView devices (BV4900 - Android 10), I don’t manage to do the same on a newer BlackView device (BV5300 - Android 12). I hope this could help to fix the bug! Many thanks! Stef

I am not sure how to reproduce the crash you are seeing when saving. Could you please provide me with some steps to reproduce that?

Unfortunately, there is no real step to make… this happens to nearly all our devices today when we just tried to open CyberTracker (not saving, just opening the software). It was working fine and the project has been on for quiet a while without any changes now. Even in the morning, some of the devices were working fine, but then after a while, when opening CT again to enter more data, we just got this screen coming instead of the normal menu of our project. We also use GAIA on the same device that is running in the background to collect our GPS tracks, not sure if that can cause any issues? Otherwise, we use our devices to updates some excel files and read some pdf files but that’s about it really, our main thing is to collect data using CyberTracker…

Unfortunately, some data are on it and I can’t ‘send’ them as I can’t access CT at all. Is there a way I can download them using a cable on my computer?

Sorry Stephanie, this was directed at Holger who reported a crash when saving on devices that otherwise worked.

We will have a fix out later today or tomorrow.

Update to 1.0527 and size is great (115% is a good value)

Hello,
Is it possible to set the standard display resolution to 100%? I mean when installing the app.

I guess a better idea would be to set to the setting from before.

All my projects are at 100% resolution to fit as much as possible onto one screen. When installing the app, you have to explain to the user every time that they have to set their resolution to 100% in the settings in order to see every element in the application.

This is a fairly general problem when dealing with different kinds of displays and resolutions.

Depending on how complex your needs are, it might be worth moving to a different way of doing things (also in CyberTracker).

Could you send me a screenshot from your phone? Or send me a link to your project.

Cheers,
-Justin

by the way: after the last update to 1.0.527 my problem that 125% is too big and 125% (default) is too small is gone. 125% is fitting fine now.
@Sven: Do you use the element properties “Dock” and “Auto hight” in general? If not, the different screen sizes will make some worst look sometimes.

Dock and Auto hight is standard and no problem.
But if the default resolution isn’t set to 100%, that’s not a problem; you just have to change it manually. That’s life.
