Hello–new user of Cybertracker here, so I’m 100% comfortable with the fact it might be user error here, but I’ve built an app, and even before trying to load my app with the QR code, the app crashes out. I’ve installed it manually through the “edit projects” tab under settings, and it will install from the file I downloaded from the app publish page. I’ve tried on my iPhone, my iPad pro, and even on an older iPhone 13. The one machine it does seem to work on is an old iPad mini. I need to drill down and figure out if it’s an OS version issue, but I was wondering if anyone is having the iOS version crashing and what you did to resolve. I’ve deleted and reinstalled, hard-rebooted the devices and still the same problem. I would generate a crash/bug report, but every time I do, the app crashes. Thanks for any assistance anyone might be able to provide. BTW–the app works great on that one iPad, so I’m excited to get it working on the other machines.
Possible to try on some Android device? Or send me *. mdb for check (DropBox or similar).
Good luck
Holger
unfortunately, I have no access to Android devices. I did look at the various iOS versions, though, and the problem persists across multiple different iOS versions, including iOS 17, 18 and 26. The only device I’ve been able to reliably run the Cybertracker app on is an iPad mini, 6th Gen, running iOS 26.0.1. Same version of Cybertracker on all devices: 1.0.576. Even on an iPhone 13 running iOS 26.0.1, CT version 1.0.576, it crashes out, and I can’t do a bug report to find out why. Puzzled.
ok, thanks .. It works on Android (version 12). It means that in the project by itself will work. It must be some problem of CyberTracker-App at IOS. I hope Justin can find any solution. I’m wondering that no other user announced this problem yet. May be I can find some iPhone to check it here. If possible, I will reply soon.
Good luck
Holger, Germany
Thanks for trying it out and helping run down the issue. I’m going to try it on a few really old iPhones I have sitting around to see if maybe it’s a hardware incompatibility. It’s obviously not the OS as I’m able to use it on the iPad mini with the same OS as the other machines.
To the extent it helps I was able to pull a crash log from the phone directly, rather than through Cybertracker. Here’s the crash–it’s a segmentation error of some kind. Way beyond my ability to fix, though.

I have released a new build on iOS - 580. Could you please update and see if this is still an issue? I have not been able to reproduce this on my devices, so it has been tricky tracking it down.
Thanks
Justin–you’re a magician! Whatever you did solved the problem. I’ve confirmed it is now working on all the devices where it was crashing. Thank you immensely for your quick response and solution.
Wonderful, thank you for testing so quickly!
