error importing database files - cabinet file is corrupt

Dear,

Can you give me a hand on recovering the .CTX files in this link https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1aOIN1FCd6nGDxFQkzW9dKqtHs-q7P3ys?usp=sharing?

I did try to open them with cybertracker, but a popup came up “error importing database files - cabinet file is corrupt [0x0004x]”. I did try different ways to recover the files but with no success.

I would also love to hear if there is a solution, as I have also been getting this error a lot recently.

Hi Chenay,

Could you please confirm the size of the CAB files which are exhibiting this behavior? We recently made a change to make them a lot smaller, so this should be less of an issue. I am contemplating just converting to use ZIP which is generally easier to work with.
