Data from previous sighting saved in subsequent sightings

Hello,

I am having a problem with an updated version of a same CT database I used before successfully, without changing any settings related to Save Target -

Essentially, each subsequent sighting is saving results from previous sightings in the columns which should be blank.

E.g. a cetacean sighting, distance, bearing followed by a bird sighting, distance & bearing will update the distance/bearing correctly and show bird species but ALSO show previous cetacean species & other associated information which is not input for bird sightings.

Every sighting ends on the same screen, Field Note, which has the Save 1 Target of the Main Screen all sightings begin from (& instead of a blank comment screen as when I used it last year, the field note already has the last saved comment input which has to be manually deleted)

Can you help with this please?

UPDATE: I have now fixed this with a workaround, by copying the template of the end of survey note (which was saving correctly) to the field note. Not sure which actual settings were different as they looked the same to me. Feel free to delete this post unless any insights to prevent this happening to others
