i have a proble with a file i´d like to recover. When i downloaded the data, a ctt. file was created in the folder System → Staging.
I think the data that i want to recover are there, and I would like to know if I could open this file.

The CTT file extension just means it is a temporary CTX, so you can just rename it to .CTX.
