I uploaded a history (rules) file of previous species sightings into a project. When I open the project on the desktop I and am able to see the points, select inspect etc on my field map but when I install the project on my phone the sites are not visible. I have also added shapefiles to the field map and they are perfectly visible when I open the application on my phone.
What do I need to do, to see the history points in on my phone?
Please confirm the file you let available for the more update version of cybertracker (ct3515u.msi - 3.515) is not a older version (3.503)? Files available via cybertracker.org or cybertrackerwiki.org seems to have the some problem. Although Admin install version is actually the most updated version - 3.515.
Ok. I clearly did not quite understand how this works. The original query is there but I created the rule file using a subset of this. What I would really like to do is to enable people to check previous sightings at a given location in the field. This includes recent sightings made using CyberTracker but it also includes some sightings made a very long time ago e.g. >100 years. Using the history data is obviously not the way to go. I guess one could turn all those sightings into go to points. This would allow inspection of the points (which species, when etc ). However, I don’t want to use the Go-to function this way because I would like to use is to show critical locations such as acoustic monitoring sites. Is there another way of doing this ?
I tried this and when I do a test run on the desktop it works perfectly. However, when I install the project on my phone I am unable to see the history. I am assuming that there is some small thing I am neglecting. Note that I first copy my zip and def into a Microsoft Azure storage (blob) and users then install it on their devices using webinstall.
