Good morning, My first presence on this forum. Can’t find an answer to my issue - apologies if it doubles with a previous post.
I’ve got CyberTracker Classic version 3. I noticed some data missing in my database (on the desktop). Found them on the mobile in the upload queue. Fails to upload, with repeated error message “0: Socket operation timed out”.
I’ve checked …\Internal storage\Android\data\org.cybertracker.mobile.ct\files\cybertracker but can’t find any ctx file here.
Any suggestions on how to retrieve the data? Many thanks
Hi Frank,
There is a button at the bottom of the Upload queue page called “Share”. This packages up the unsent data as a zip and lets you send it using the systems share feature. You can email the file to yourself.
Open the zip and you can manually import the CTX files inside it using File→Import data on the desktop.
Let me know if this does not work for you.
The socket issue sounds like a problem that might be fixed by restarting your device.
Cheers,
-Justin
Many thanks Justin. Remarkably, after a week of repeated failed attempts to upload the data - including multiple restarts of the phone, in addition to the upload attempt directly after the counts - when I checked now, it somehow had been uploaded! Mystery to me what changed, but at least it’s solved!
